CNY | Albergue SCM wishing well opens

The wishing well at Albergue SCM will have its protective glass cover removed and be opened to the public today, allowing visitors to throw a coin in and make a wish. The well, situated under the romantic Marriage Trees, collects funds that are donated to the Society for the Protection of Animals (Macau) to ensure the well-being of animals in the MSAR.
The trees have been intertwined for more than a century, said the Creative Albergue event organizers, and have been witness to countless marriage proposals made in the romantic courtyard. The wishing well will remain open to the public in the courtyard of Albergue SCM until March 5.
