Three dead babies found in freezer in Germany: prosecutor

The bodies of three dead babies have been discovered in a freezer in the cellar of a house in Wenden near Bonn in western Germany, prosecutors said yesterday.
One person has been arrested, prosecutors said, adding that the babies appear to have died shortly after being born. The gruesome discovery was made late on Sunday.
The online edition of Spiegel magazine cited police as saying that a couple and their three children aged 18 to 24 lives lived in the house.
Germany has witnessed numerous similar cases in recent years, most notably a woman in eastern Germany who killed nine of her newborn babies and hid the remains in flower pots. She was jailed for 15 years.
