Business mission from Brazil visits Angola and Mozambique

A delegation of the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brazil) including 40 companies in the machinery, equipment, building, construction, food and beverage sectors is in Luanda on a visit that will continue in South Africa and Mozambique until the end of the month.
A statement from Apex-Brazil said that some of the companies were present at the Luanda International Fair (Filda) taking place in the capital of Angola until next Sunday.
According to the same agency in 2014 Brazil’s exports to Angola amounted to USD1.261 billion and imports totaled USD1.109 billion. The main products exported were sugar, beef, poultry and pork, cornmeal, shoes and furniture.
In 2014 Brazil exported goods to Mozambique worth USD63.861 million and imported US$10.207 million.
The main Brazilian products exported to Mozambique were poultry, generators and transformers, trains and materials for railroads, tractors, footwear, furniture, machinery and equipment for mining, construction and agriculture, among others. MDT/Macauhub
