The Buzz |Boxing: Mayweather allegedly wants rematch clause

After Manny Pacquiao’s bout with Chris Algieri in Macau the focus is on who will take on the Filipino fighter next. According to Manny’s trainer Freddie Roach, Floyd Mayweather Jr. wants to be sure that he gets a rematch in case he loses before he accepts the challenge.
“My understanding is that Floyd is insisting on the rematch if Manny beats him, which I believe he will,” Roach said.
According to the Filipino star, “Pacquiao’s camp earlier expressed their willingness to give in to some of Mayweather’s possible demands just to make the fight happen, even allowing Mayweather to take the lion’s share of the purse.”
