The Cultural Affairs Bureau, in cooperation with several government departments, has announced that it will proceed to re-plan and integrate the five Portuguese buildings of the Taipa Houses-Museum and its surrounding area.
The initiative aims to optimize the cultural facilities and functionality of this area, aiming to create a cultural centre that could be used for both leisure and information’activities.
The five Portuguese buildings of the Taipa Houses-Museum will be temporarily closed from August 22 onwards. The reopening date of the buildings will be announced at a later stage.
