Corporate bits | Bruno Mars to play Macau date on world tour

The Venetian Macao and Live Nation Lushington will bring Grammy Award winner and world-renowned singer-songwriter Bruno Mars to play at the Cotai Arena on April 28, 2018, Sands China revealed yesterday.

Mars’ s visit is part of his 24K Magic World Tour extending throughout Europe, North America, Australia and Southeast Asia, to celebrate his latest chart-topping album, 24K Magic.

It will be his first full-length tour since 2013’s Moonshine Jungle World Tour, an international blockbuster that sold 2 million tickets across 155 sold-out dates worldwide.

Tickets for the Cotai show start at MOP688 and are available from 10 a.m. on October 19 via Cotai Ticketing and HK Ticketing, according to a press release from Sands China.

Honda aircraft select China distributor

Honda Aircraft announced this week that it has expanded sales of the HondaJet in Greater China, with the appointment of Guangzhou-based Honsan General Aviation Co. as an official dealer in the country. The distributor will service China and the two special administrative regions of Macau and Hong Kong.

“The HondaJet has been received with tremendous interest in and around China and we have appointed Honsan General Aviation HondaJet as a dealer in the region,” said Honda Aircraft President and CEO Michimasa Fujino, according to Business Insider. “With its strong focus on quality and customer service, Honsan General Aviation Co. Ltd. will be a very valuable addition to our dealer network and will be very successful in this emerging market.”

The distributor will be based at the new business jet terminal currently under construction at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.
