The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) is launching a project to renovate the Pek Tai Temple and Sam Po Temple along the Rua do Cunha, as well as the Fok Tak Chi in Horta da Mitra. The IC stated that it would take roughly one month to change all the power cords inside the Pek Tai and Sam Po Temples, which will remain open to the public during renovations, while the Fok Tak Temple will close for its two-month refurbishment. The two ancestral Taipa temples were built in 1844 and 1845 respectively. The Fok Tak is estimated to have been built in the middle of the Qing dynasty.
