Local companies expand in Zhejiang province

Earlier this week, a local company, Hang Hou Macau, signed a contract with Anji county in Zhejiang to invest RMB3 billion into the province and thus strengthen trade and the economic relationship between the two cities, Journal Va Kio reported.
The contract establishes that Anji will provide 1.45 square kilometers of land for the development of a cross-border e-commerce zone and an industrial zone for clothing. Upon completion, the waterfront of the Anji harbor will be extended from the current 400 meters to 1,100 meters.
With this investment, the company expects to expand its business in Anji, and also hopes to make the area the top inner ferry terminal in China.
Statistics show that 342 Macau companies have invested in Zhejiang province. Imports and exports between the two regions reached USD180 million last year, four times more than 2014.
