Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea

Jazz legends Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea displayed their musical mastery with improvisational takes on well-known tunes before a sold-out concert at the Macau Cultural Center Grand Auditorium on Friday.
With a combined collection of over 30 Grammy awards, Hancock and Corea are influential jazz pianists and seen as rare examples of constant reinvention and progression, after more than five decades of unparalleled musical creativity.
The legendary key-board duo went a long way back, from the great Miles Davies bands of the 60s to the stadium filling, genre-shattering “Head Hunters” and “Return to Forever” of the 70s, when both artists started to build their careers.
The concert was the last stop of a tour that included concerts in Taipei, Sydney and Melbourne. After Macau, Chick Corea will perform in Germany while Herbie Hancock will resume his busy schedule back in the U.S.
