Resident caught slapping Zhuhai bus driver

The mainland Public Security Department has taken a Macau resident into custody after he was alleged to have slapped a bus driver in a traffic dispute.
It was reported by Jornal Va Kio that on February 9, a man driving a vehicle with both Macau and mainland license plates hit the window of a Zhuhai bus and accused the bus driver of obstructing his vehicle when the bus was approaching a bus stop. The man was alleged to have gotten on the bus and slapped the bus driver before driving away from the scene. The incident was widely reported by mainland media.
After conducting investigation into the occurrence, the authorities  found the 63-year-old Macau resident, surname Lei, on February 16. The Zhuhai police said that it is still investigating into the case. It stated that the authorities will penalize any individual who causes trouble and disturbance and will strive to protect the rights of public transportation personnel. The bus company in Zhuhai also thanked the public for their attention to the incident.
