Xu Yingzhen to be the new Forum Macau head

Xu Yingzhen will be the new Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macau, according to weekly Catholic newspaper “O Clarim.” Xu’s appointment was reportedly disclosed by China on Wednesday during a meeting between the Chinese Minister of Commerce, the ambassadors of the Portuguese-speaking countries in Beijing, and a delegation of Forum Macao. Xu Yingzhen is currently working at the Chinese Ministry of Commerce as a department head for Latin America. The replacement of the current Secretary-General, Chang Hexi should take place during the coming fifth Ministerial conference schedule for November this year.
