Student photography showcases sustainable development

The “All for 17, 17 for All 2024 Macau SDGs Photography Exhibition” opened on Saturday, showcasing selected photographs taken by local students. Running until November 17, the exhibition features photographs that highlight Macau’s commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Centered on sustainable development, the exhibition showcases submissions from full-time students in Macau, collected from June to October. A professional panel selected exemplary works for display in various locations, linking the city’s history, present, and future to inspire community engagement in sustainability efforts.

The opening ceremony took place at the Cardinal Newman Center of Culture and Performing Arts, allowing attendees to explore Macau’s journey toward sustainability. Award-winning photographs will also be featured on outdoor electronic screens courtesy of Macau Cable TV, as well as inside TurboJet vessels.

Organized by the Macau Institute for Corporate Social Responsibility and sponsored by the Macao Foundation, this collaborative initiative aims to position Macau as a sustainable city and actively involve the public in its development goals. VC
