New Hawker Management Regime set to launch

Macau’s “Hawker Management Regime” will take effect on March 1, as the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) promotes the new law. IAM held three explanatory sessions to brief the Consultative Committee on Municipal Affairs, community service committees, and industry representatives on key provisions and transitional measures. During the sessions, IAM officials outlined the obligations of hawker license holders and the enforcement mechanisms to enhance management standards. Participants provided feedback, emphasizing that the new regime would facilitate better operational order and resource utilization within the hawker industry.
