IC accepting applications for fashion design subsidy

The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) has launched the “2017 Subsidy Program for Fashion Design on Sample Making.” The program has been implemented three times previously and works to comprehensively bolster Macau’s fashion design industry. The program has two main goals; to encourage Macau-based fashion designers to present practical and optimized business plans to the industry and to initiate their involvement in commercial activities as well as their participation in Macau  and international fashion marketing opportunities. These are all actions that will enhance the popularity and market competitiveness of the Macau fashion industry and will spur on the steady development of the Macau design community. All eligible applicants will be granted subsidies up to MOP160,000 each for sample production and promotional materials. Submission for applications will end on August 14.
