A two-year-old girl and a 34-year-old man died after falling from a unit at the One Oasis residential complex. The 30-year-old mother of the girl was found with multiple cuts on her body. All three individuals were Hong Kong residents.

According to a statement by the Centro Hospitalar Conde de São Januário (CHCSJ), the man died immediately after the fall, while the girl’s death was only confirmed after CHCSJ’s arrival.

The mother’s injuries have been treated and her physical condition is stable. She has been referred to social workers for further assistance.

The Judiciary Police (PJ) said in a statement that the deceased man was the woman’s boyfriend. The girl was their daughter.

The couple had argued several times about their relationship prior to the incident.

The man returned to Macau from Hong Kong early yesterday morning. At 7:00 a.m., after the family’s domestic helper left, the man suddenly grabbed a knife to attack the woman.

The injured woman fled the apartment. When she arrived at the building lobby, she witnessed the man falling from the building.

An anonymous source told the Times that bloodstains were still visible in a lift (pictured) around 2.30 p.m.
