‘Galaxy Macau Chill Coffee’ Promotes ‘Tourism + Gastronomy’ and Empowers Local SMEs

Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) firmly believes that small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are essential to driving the moderate and diversified development of Macau’s economy. Guided by this belief, GEG has long embraced the “Large Businesses Leading Small Businesses” model, leveraging its resources and platforms to prioritize the procurement from Macau’s SMEs and foster their sustainable development.

As part of the “GEG SME Series”, GEG recently hosted the “Galaxy Macau Chill Coffee” Macau Coffee Cultural Festival at the Galaxy International Convention Center. Serving as Macau’s first large‑scale coffee cultural festival organized by an integrated tourism and leisure enterprise, the three‑day event brought together 60 exhibitors, including more than 40 local SMEs and Macau brands, and attracted over 12,000 visitors.

The Festival not only celebrated Macau’s vibrant coffee culture, but also reinforced its unique appeal as a “World Center of Tourism and Leisure”.

Maximizing the Festival’s impact, GEG, in collaboration with the supporting units and media partners, provided comprehensive support to exhibitors by waiving participation fees and offering logistical and promotional resources. Furthermore, engagement was also enhanced through the participation of world-class coffee champions and diverse side activities, including competitions, workshops, and talks designed to foster industry exchange and elevate public understanding of coffee culture.

The three-day “Galaxy Macau Chill Coffee” at the Galaxy International Convention Center brought together 60 exhibitors, including more than 40 local SMEs and Macau brands, attracting over 12,000 visitors.

GEG enhanced engagement at the Festival by hosting diverse side activities to foster industry exchange and elevate public understanding of coffee culture.

GEG supported local SME participants by inviting world‑class coffee champions to engage with them, and partnering with media partners to launch livestreaming activities.

GEG strengthened the Festival’s brand identity by organizing a logo and event name design contest.

GEG introduced a “Coffee Tasting Rewards Program” at the Festival to encourage on‑site consumption.

GEG collaborated with a local eco‑friendly supplier to incorporate green elements into the venue design, repurposing wooden pallets into tables and chairs and adopting eco-friendly materials for tableware.
