The ongoing construction of five new hotels in Macau is expected to add nearly 3,000 hotel rooms to the region, according to data from the Land and Urban Construction Bureau. Additionally, seven other hotel projects are currently being planned, with a combined capacity of approximately 900 rooms. In addition to hotel projects, the bureau also provided information on residential developments, stating that two private residential projects with a total of 11 flats had received final approvals during the second quarter. Furthermore, there are 56 private housing projects in various stages of construction, which could potentially offer an additional 2,375 flats.
