MGM has been working with stakeholders in Macau to promote responsible gambling (RG) through various initiatives aimed at building a healthy and sustainable society.
Earlier this year, the company unveiled the “MGM Financial Education School Tour 2024 – Hero of Egg Waffle.” This program features an interactive musical drama that conveys positive messages about financial awareness and gaming prevention to students.
Tian Han, executive vice president of Gaming Operations & Strategic Marketing at MGM, said the school tour visits 20 local primary and secondary schools annually, reaching over 3,000 students.
MGM has also partnered with City University of Macau to launch the “Responsible Gaming Project at Campus,” providing RG training and lectures to university students.
Beyond the education sector, MGM has organized public awareness initiatives such as a photo exhibition exploring the history of Macau’s gaming industry and RG efforts.
