Xin Kang Cheng Motors Limited launched the new 2014 Infiniti Q50 at Galaxy’s nightspot China Rouge last Friday.
Mr Wilson Mok, general manager of Xin Kang Cheng Motors Limited, has said that the timing of the launch marks the moment of Infiniti formally being introduced and sold in Macau’s market.
“The all-new 2014 Infiniti Q50 is designed to create a new, distinct level of customer engagement – propelling Infiniti in a bold new direction as a brand,” Infiniti claimed in a press release.
Seeking to attract clients interested in also acquiring luxury cars, four versions of the Infiniti Q50 are now available in Macau, including a Q50 2.0T Premium and Q50S Hybrid.
According to the brand, the new Q50 features Infiniti Direct Adaptive Steering technology that is a sample of the “world’s first production vehicle design that has finally been developed after more than ten years of research.” “The system allows independent control of the Q50’s tire angle and steering inputs, transmitting the driver’s intentions to the wheels faster than a mechanical system,” they assured. The brand said this will increase the direct driving performance feel, as it communicates road surface feedback to the driver.
The vehicle is capable of achieving 6.2L/100km, delivering 360 horsepower with heart-pounding immediacy. It features “Dual Flow Path Shock Absorbers, which adjust damping forces based on road conditions to maintain the perfect rise and precise response to all moments behind the wheel.”
“The new Q50’s strong first impression is anchored by the smooth yet dynamic character line arising from its ‘double arch’ grille,” the brand released in a statement.
The event, held at Galaxy’s China Rouge, was attended by over 100 guests, including representatives of Infiniti Motor Company Limited and Dah Chong Hong Holdings Limited, the company’s press release said. CP
