MGS announces speaker lineup

The speaker lineup for the MGS Entertainment Show Summit at The Venetian Macao has been announced, featuring a host of influential and knowledgeable people in the gaming, entertainment, technology and public sector fields, according to statement from the organizer.

Among them are Paulo Martins Chan, the director of the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau, who will kick off the summit on Tuesday as the keynote speaker, as well as Pansy Ho, executive chairman and managing director of Shun Tak Holdings and Wilfred Wong, president of Sands China.

According to the organizer, the focus of day one of the summit is the Belt and Road Initiative and “Smart City, Smart Economy”, when professional speakers from the industry will share their ideas of how smart technologies can integrate with different businesses.

Day two will focus on the current trends in mobile gaming and esports technology development in Macau, and how these popular games connect the real and virtual worlds.

The third and final day of the summit will deal with “next generation gaming”, with speakers ranging from university professors to business consultants giving their perspectives on new regulatory measures, the evolution of gaming equipment and new gaming jurisdictions in the Asia-Pacific region.
