Aomi records increase in sales from merchants in tourist areas

Takeaway platform has recorded an increase of up to 40% for sales by merchants in tourist areas, according to Jiang Haitao, founder and CEO of takeaway app, Aomi. Orders from merchants in other districts, however, fell by 20% to 30%. He added that the group has established a company in Hong Kong and has expanded its business, allowing Hong Kong tourists to book Macau restaurants. Currently, the platform has 1,600 drivers.
