The St. Regis Hotels & Resorts today announces that The St. Regis Macao, Cotai Central is scheduled to open in the third quarter of this year. The hotel will mark the brand’s 36th property worldwide and the seventh in the Greater China region, hot on the heels of recent openings in Chengdu, Tianjin, Sanya, and Shenzhen.

CEM holds seminar on electrical contractor registration mechanism and electricity supply application procedures
In a bid to enhance communication with the engineering industry and increase the transparency of customer service, CEM recently held a seminar at the CEM Building to introduce the electrical contractor registration mechanism and application procedures for subscribed demand increase and electricity supply to ensure electrical engineers have a clear understanding of relevant requirements.
More than 50 electrical contractors and representatives of the Macau Electromechanics Professionals Association, Macau Construction Association, Macau Association of Building Contractors and Developers, Association of Macau Electricity Professionals and Association of Macau Electricians attended the seminar. Luella Wong, CEM Customer Services Department Metering Service Management Manager, introduced the electrical contractor registration mechanism for 2015, while Chris Chao, Senior Engineer of the Network Planning, Design and Construction Department, introduced the application procedures for power demand increase, electricity supply in new buildings, and temporary power supply.
An evening of romance at fado
This February, Fado at Hotel Royal Macau is offering a four-course Portuguese dinner prepared by Executive Chef, Luís Américo. The Valentine’s menu also comes with a bottle of Champagne.
The menu begins with Grilled tiger shrimp with rosemary butter sauce; followed by Fresh lobster and sea bass with rich Portuguese style shellfish cream soup and green asparagus; the journey continues with a Rib eye premium sliced steak with puff hearts stuffed with sautéed carrot and zucchini; and finally, a Peach and thyme lava-cake, fresh cheese and Vanilla custard and chocolate port wine truffles for a sweet finish.
Fado’s Valentine four-course candlelit dinner is available from February 13th to 15th 2015.
