Emergency visits dropping: SSM
The number of people visiting emergency departments per day has dropped to about 800, which is close to the baseline pre-pandemic level, according to Health Bureau director Alvis Lo. Regarding Covid-19 cases, Lo said that about 40% of the population have been infected twice. He also added that the flow of people traveling abroad during summer vacation will not accelerate the infection or influx of new virus strains.
