IC pushes cultural tourism and IP development

The Cultural Tourism Branding Subsidy Scheme has supported enterprises in developing 416 cultural tourism products and seven experience programs, integrating heritage, community, festivals, and sports elements. According to the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), the government aims to extend the lifecycle of local IP, promote deeper collaboration across industries, and strengthen cultural soft power. Policies protect creators’ rights, while IP brands are showcased at domestic and international fairs to encourage product development and expand their influence.
