MPU welcomes 2,200 new students, encourages patriotism

Macao Polytechnic University held the opening ceremony of the 2023/2024 academic year and the first MPU lecture on Aug. 21. The ceremony and lecture inaugurate a new study journey with 2,200 new students of Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral programs from home and abroad. The university held a flag-raising ceremony and played the national anthem at the opening ceremony. Rector Im Sio Kei expressed his wish for the freshmen to inherit a spirit of love for the motherland and for Macau, be pioneers of a new era, and contribute wisdom and strength to the country and Macau.
