Music Festival | Over 5,500 tickets sold during first day of sales

The tickets for the 30th Macao International Music Festival (MIMF) went on sale on Sunday. According to a statement issued by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), a large number of music fans had been waiting for various ticket offices to open to purchase tickets. Sales reached a satisfactory result, as 5,500 tickets were sold by 5 p.m. on the first day of ticket sales.
The 30th MIMF will be held from October 1 to 30, featuring 20 shows and a total of 27 performances. At 8 a.m. on the first day of ticket sales, the organiser sent staff to each ticket office to maintain order and to distribute queuing vouchers to waiting customers from 9 a.m. onward, thereby making ticket purchases more convenient.
During the first day of ticket sales, tickets for the Berlin Philharmonic String Quintet, Quintessence Night, Magic Bow and The Story of Pipa, among other concerts, were sold out. All tickets for the free admission concert Gloria were also completely distributed. According to the information released by the IC, the performances by Turandot, Ray Chen – Violin Recital, From Russia, With Classics, and the free performance Chaplin Once More! were highly sought after.
