Some over 100,000 residents have completed the binding of their electronic identity in the Macao One Account mobile application on the first day after the service entered into operation, the Identification Services Bureau (DSI) informed in a press statement. According to DSI, the service attracted high interest among the public. By 9 p.m. on June 30, the service had already recorded over 100,000 electronic identity linkages from local residents. Since the service became available, residents can use the electronic identity for border crossing.
