Corporate bits | MGM Macau racks up 15 health and safety awards

In a statement released yesterday, MGM Macau said it was proud to have won the most awards at the 2nd F&B Occupational Safety and Health Award Program, organized by the Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL).

The objective of the award program is to recognize F&B outlets and their staff members with outstanding achievements in enhancing the occupational safety within the catering industry, according to the MGM Macau statement.

The company received a total of 15 awards at the award ceremony yesterday, including the silver award in “Corporate Safety Performance” that demonstrates commitment to securing a safe and healthy workplace.

Earlier this month, MGM Macau organized an Occupational Health and Safety game fair and the signing ceremony of the company’s “Occupational Safety and Health Charter,” which was witnessed by DSAL.

CTM to offer new samsung galaxy s8 and s8+

As a prelude to the upcoming launch of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ in Macau, yesterday CTM and Samsung jointly organized a “Galaxy S8 | S8+ Corporate Priority Session” for customers to experience the new functions of the new mobile device.

According to a statement from CTM, the session saw representatives from Samsung demonstrate and introduce the mobile’s unique design, “advanced technologies and powerful functions.”

Also in the statement, CTM said that it has applied the Carrier Aggregation technology to “greatly uplift” the CTM 4G+ download speed from 112Mbps to 225Mbps.

“Through continuous investment and effort, CTM made a new breakthrough in introducing the 3CCA technology [… so that] customers could enjoy the unprecedented ultimate download speed of 300Mbps.”
