I was not shocked to watch Off The Bench win his race on May 28, if one looked carefully at his preps he was on fire and developing his form through his morning work outs step by step. If one followed his form on paper, no one would even consider to put him in any exotics let alone on each way bets. This Friday his trainers again entered him in a race with similar conditions in 1510 metres sand, they also engaged W.H Lao to ride him, there is no reason to doubt that he could not run well in this race. Looking at his last race it appears that Off The Bench still has plenty left in the tank, the turn around of the 13 lbs would not bother him at all. He can continue his good form this Friday and hopefully we will see him in the winning enclosure again with his connection there. Off The Bench is my solid each way bets this weekend. Davy Chiu, MDT
