The Environmental Protection Bureau (DSPA) recently held a workshop to present the main contents of the technical standards on the installation of combustible gases in buildings regulation, which was put into force in end-September. Representatives from various gas companies participated in the workshop, during which DSPA spoke about the main contents of the regulation, and held exchanges with the sector, in the hope that the new standards will be better implemented in practice and with a view to enhancing the dissemination of the safety requirements of gas installations.
Close contact of confirmed Covid-19 case in Macau
The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre were informed by the Zhuhai health authorities of an individual who had been in Macau for a few days that came in close contact with a confirmed Covid-19 case from the Heilongjiang Province. The Health Bureau is currently performing nucleic acid tests on those who were in contact with the individual during their stay in Macau from December 3 to 5. They were subject to medical observation in Zhuhai upon returning on December 6; five NAT have been done over the past eight days, all of which returned negative. The ones who came in contact with the individual all returned negative NATs.
