The public sector will provide limited external services this week following two weeks of closure.
Residents, meanwhile, are required to make an appointment in advance online or by telephone to avoid gathering and crowds.
The Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau (SAFP) issued a statement to all public departments requesting that department heads follow the principle of maintaining minimal personnel for limited provision of public services.
It also called for staff, where possible, to work from home or work at different times to limit the spread of the virus.
Additionally, department leaders should avoid permitting staff with yellow health codes to go to work in the department.
According to the official letter circulated by the SAFP, those who have not been asked to return to work are deemed to be absent according to the provisions of public service laws, but must perform their duties, including participating in anti-pandemic support, and other work.
Meanwhile, several branches of Macau’s banks will open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. this week. LV
