The president of the Sports and Olympic Committee of Macau, China (MOC), Charles Lo, has passed away, aged 79. Lo was also the president of the General Assembly of the Macau International Airport Co. Ltd. and chaired the Media Committee of the Olympic Council of Asia, where he was also a member of the Executive Board. Three years ago, he was re-elected for a fourth term of office at the MOC, where he had served since 2008. This term was due to end in October 2024.
