Hong Kong’s Transport Department today opened applications for 1,000 regular quotas for Hong Kong cross-boundary non-commercial private cars using the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) to Macau. On June 30, the 1,000 quotas allocated from July 2021 will expire. Of these, 500 are for company applicants and the rest are for individual applicants. The quotas are valid for no more than three years until June 30, 2027. Those successfully allocated a quota are expected to be able to travel via the HZMB to and from Hong Kong and Macau from July 1 at the earliest.
