Applications for support for scrapping vehicles enters second phase

The government is progressing with the second phase of both the plan to provide financial assistance to replace outdated motorcycles with new electric motorcycles, and the plan to provide financial assistance to scrap old diesel-powered vehicles. The first application period for both programs will open June 1 and close May 31, 2024. Importantly, vehicle owners who meet the eligibility criteria during the first application period will not be eligible to apply in the second application period.
