Guia Hill cable car renovations extended

The project to renovate the Guia Hill cable car and conduct annual safety inspections will need to be extended. The Municipal Affairs Bureau has announced the extension is due to recent unstable weather conditions. The bureau aims to reopen the cable car to the public mid-June. As a result, the free cable car rides originally planned for June 1 and June 2 will be canceled. The renovation and maintenance work will cover the ceiling, floor, walls, guardrails and steps of the cable car, as well as the upper and lower stations.
