MGTO showcases Macau in PATA Travel Mart

The Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) participated in the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Travel Mart 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand, alongside local travel stakeholders to enhance international visitor markets. A key event highlight was the 2024 PATA Gold Awards, where MGTO, gaming operators Melco and Galaxy were recognized. MGTO received a PATA Gold Award for its Human Capital Development Initiative, recognizing over a decade of collaboration with various organizations to offer free training, qualifications, and support to improve service quality in the city’s tourism industry. MGTO director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes led a delegation of 13 representatives from Macau’s hotels and travel agencies.
