Culinary workshop celebrates cultural ties

The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Macau University of Science and Technology hosted the 16th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries Culinary Workshop on Oct. 21. Featuring renowned Chefs Nário Tala from Angola and Marina de Senna Fernandes from Macau, the event attracted over 80 students eager to explore culinary traditions. Dean Ben K. Goh emphasized the significance of culinary culture in fostering understanding among diverse ethnicities. The workshop highlighted traditional dishes, including Tala’s Smoked Catfish and Fernandes’ Minchi Mosca, enriching students’ appreciation of cultural heritage.
