Guangzhou and Macau deepen pharmaceutical cooperation

A Guangzhou delegation visited Macau’s pharmaceutical regulator last week. The parties exchanged perspectives on drug and device inspection, reaching a consensus on deepening cooperation in personnel training. Their partnership began in 1999 and will expand to ensure safety in the Greater Bay Area. Authorities said they will develop more practical projects related to public health, like medicine and device testing. The parties also discussed optimizing inspection processes to promote healthy industry development in both regions.
