Six injured in bus accident

A traffic accident occurred near the Resorts World Treasure Island Hotel when a bus braked sharply, injuring six passengers yesterday afternoon. Firefighters and police responded to the scene, and the cause of the incident is under investigation. The injured, all conscious and in stable condition, were transported to Conde S. Januário Hospital. Injuries ranged from contusions on the cheek, abdomen, waist, knee, and thigh. Initial reports suggest a private car suddenly cut in front of the bus, forcing the driver to brake. The bus driver passed a breathalyzer test, and police are investigating further.
