Strong winter monsoon to bring cold weather for CNY

The Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau predicts a strong winter monsoon will hit the South China coast on Sunday, bringing significant temperature drops and extremely dry weather early next week. The lowest temperature on Jan. 28 is expected to reach 10 degrees Celcius, with temperatures ranging from 10 degrees to 18 degrees on Chinese New Year’s Eve and the first day of the year.
