A photography competition held by the Judiciary Police (PJ) has seen eight pictures chosen from a total of 67 entries submitted by local journalists that best present the positive image of the police authority. The contest invited reporters to submit pictures to mark PJ’s 55th anniversary, a milestone also marked by its own police officers, who were encouraged to put their own cameras to use. Another nine pictures out of a total of 37 have been selected as part of another contest, entry to which is exclusive to civil servants working for the PJ department. The recognized pictures will be put on display after an awards presentation to be held on July 15 at the PJ’s anniversary gala dinner. Reporters from the Chinese-language newspaper Macao Daily News claimed half of the prizes.
