Last Friday the Land, Public Works and Transport Bureau (DSSOPT) opened the second phase of bidding in which companies tendered their proposed contracts regarding the draft of the Macau Master Plan.
The DSSOPT accepted four of the five bids, the fifth of which was rejected for lacking the required documents. All five were cooperative bids with the participation of mainland companies.
The four successful bids offered prices ranging from MOP11 million to MOP88 million. They will be evaluated based on the duration of their services, the companies’ capabilities and track record, and human resources distribution.
The second phase of bidding on the Macau Master Plan draft was delayed until last Friday because the evaluation committee had doubts regarding some of the bids.
The first open bidding was carried out in October 2017, with a proposed service period between 90 to 730 days.
This time, the Macau Master Plan will feature Macau’s administrative areas; namely, the Macau Peninsula, Taipa, Coloane, the New Urban Zone, the Macau port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, Macau’s seas and the University of Macau Hengqin Campus.
