Chinese academic to discuss virus-host interaction at UM talk

Gao Fu, Chinese academic, will speak at the seminar at the University of Macau (UM) held at 4 p.m. today to present his insights on virus-host interactions. Gao is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), an international member of the US National Academy of Sciences, and professor in the Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. During his UM talk, Professor Gao will analyze and provide insights on the design and development of drugs and vaccines related to mechanisms of viral invasion and transmission, as well as research on drug resistance mechanisms.
