A 35-year-old man, working as a civil servant is suspected to have died by suicide Monday evening, the Judiciary Police (PJ) informed in a note to the press.
According to the PJ, who were called to investigate the case by the Fire Services Bureau, the man was found inside the pump room of the building where he resided in Taipa’s Rua de Coimbra around 6:30 p.m. on May 22.
The PJ investigators said there were no signs indicating foul play and no traces of a fight or struggle. There was also no note at the scene.
The case has been temporarily listed as a case of a body being found with the cause of death to be determined through forensic examination.
