CTMCTM held a “Smartphone Briefing” for approximately 100 elderly residents at the Lok Yi Day Care Centre in Coloane last week. The briefing was held in order to enhance their understanding and use of smartphones. A representative of the company conducted an introduction to the residents on the key features available on smartphone apps. A quiz-based game was also organized to reinforce understanding of the content.
CTM says it is committed to promoting the popularization of information technology. The company says that the briefing benefits elderly residents by enriching their lifestyle through a more effective use of telecommunication services. The “Unveil Digital Lifestyle – Smartphone Briefing” was held on December 10 in a collaborative effort with a subsidiary of the Women’s General Association of Macau at Edificio Lok Kuan in Coloane.

A closing ceremony for the “CEM Brightening Stars” internship program was held on Friday afternoon at Hotel Royal. The families of the trainees, CEM and MSO representatives and government officials were all in attendance. On behalf of the trainees, Chu Kai Chong, who interned in the customer service department, expressed his gratitude to the company, adding that he had learnt that supplying power to Macau is no easy task.
