Swiss avant-garde watchmaker TAG Heuer made its first debut at Studio City, Macau yesterday. With over 156-years’ experience in watch-making, TAG Heuer is showcasing TAG Heuer Connected, for the first time in the city, for the appreciation of watch enthusiasts in the entertainment hub of Asia.
TAG Heuer has collaborated with Intel and Google to create the TAG Heuer Connected smart watch, a watch that represents a combination of classic wristwatch artistry, electronic intelligence and cutting-edge technology.
“It features an Intel® Atom™ processor Z34XX, 4GB RAM, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal screen, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, IP67 splash-proof resistance, running on Android Wear platform with Google voice control,” the press release reads.
To commemorate the grand opening of the boutique, a Wall Challenge game will be held everyday at Macau Times Square at Studio City from today to February 22.
sina weibo awards sands china
Sands China Ltd. was awarded as The Most Popular Complex for Traveling and Entertainment by Sina Weibo as part of their “Travel 10 Years Sina Travel Annual Awards” yesterday. Sands was the only prize winner for this category in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
The company’s nine Weibo accounts were honored for the way they used the platform to create interesting Weibo events and engaging hashtags. The Venetian’s Weibo account and related Weibo hashtags reached a read-through-rate of 45 million last year, putting it in the top three among all tourism complexes that operate on Weibo. The resort’s Weibo accounts have also been an effective communication platform with travellers, especially those in mainland China.
According to a press release, during the “Travel 10 Years Sina Travel Annual Awards” campaign, the official Weibo hashtags were read over 1.11 billion times while the main hashtag #Travel10Years was read over 890 million times and remains as one of the most popular hashtags on Weibo.
new recruits to wynn employee volunteer team
To welcome the Chinese New Year, the Wynn Employee Volunteer team has called a special group of about 200 newly-joined volunteers from the gaming division to visit elderly recipients of the Peng On Tung Tele-Assistance Service.
From January 18 to 21, the activity gathered 200 volunteers who were divided into 15 teams to visit over 180 households across Macau and Taipa. Aside from cleaning the elderly citizen’s homes and transforming them into comfortable retreats, volunteers have also helped set up decorations to welcome the New Year of the Monkey and have given healthy food packages to each household to wish them health and good fortune throughout the year. According to a press release, “Wynn Macau supports local charitable activities and will continue to fulfil its commitment to corporate social responsibility.”
