Wynn Resorts has been placed as the highest-ranking casino resort on FORTUNE Magazine’s 2018 World’s Most Admired Companies list in the hotel, casino and resort category. Its position was third on the list, behind hospitality giants Marriott International and Hilton Worldwide Holdings, but ahead of MGM Resorts International (4th) and Las Vegas Sands (6th).

Wynn Resorts ranked first overall in the category of Quality of Products/Services among all international hotel companies. The company also received high marks for Innovation, People Management, Quality of Management, and Global Competitiveness.

FORTUNE works with top industry executives and analysts to rate companies based on nine categories that range from financial soundness to social responsibility.

Each year, FORTUNE Magazine conducts a survey to compile the “World’s Most Admired Companies.” The Most Admired list provides a definitive report card on corporate reputations in a variety of fields including consumer products, power, natural resources, and hospitality.

CEM hosts energy fun fair

CEM on Sunday hosted the Energy Fun Fair at Tap Seac Square, inviting hundreds of students representing 12 local secondary schools to take part in the event with their families. The fair was held from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the theme, “Build your smart home, Use appliances efficiently”.

The Fair aims to promote the smart home concept, according to a CEM statement, by encouraging children to use electrical appliances in a more efficient manner. This will help to conserve more energy and contribute to protecting the environment.

A special ‘Recycling Workshop’ booth was on display to encourage the youngsters to recycle plastic bottles from their daily consumed beverages to make useful utensils.

Another booth was dedicated to showcasing electric vehicles (EV). Citizens could find useful information about the EV charging stations in the city and a video of how to use the charge stations.

Moreover, many prizes were available at the several game booths, including sports towels and recycling bags, as well as lucky draw items.
