A draft of the fourth round of real estate assessment administrative regulations has been announced, with six new pieces of real estate assessed. These comprise two monuments, two buildings with architectural artistic value, and two building complexes. The regulations take effect from the day following their announcement and are intended to protect these immovable properties of cultural interest in Macau. Deland Leong, director of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, announced in a press conference last week that these properties were carefully assessed. Their cultural significance was assessed and they underwent a public consultations process.
