Since the yellow high temperature warning is now effective in Macau because of the extremely hot weather, the Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL) has appealed to workers to beware of heatstroke and encourage them to arrange job rotations. Those who work in high temperatures and humid environments for extended periods are also encouraged to take short breaks at appropriate times. DSAL also appeals to the industry to pay attention to ventilation in the workplace to avoid accidents such as heatstroke and gas poisoning.
