According to the data on the number of passengers during the seven-day Golden Week holidays in 2023, passengers of mainland China routes accounted for 51% of the total, 13% on China Taiwan routes, and 36% on Southeast Asia routes.
As for the fourth quarter, with the approach of the Christmas holiday period, MIA said it will actively add more routes.
Air Macau will launch regular flights between Macau and Indonesia at the end of October. Meanwhile, the airport is also actively assisting with the resumption of flights to various destinations to mainland China and expanding to the Southeast Asian and other international markets.
The airport also noted that it is aiming to provide local residents and tourists with more diversified and convenient travel options. Staff Reporter
